A relatively small, upright, cone-shaped dwarf conifer with the open, upright growing form typical of mugo pines. The dark green 2 inch long needles are borne in pairs. Best planted in small areas where evergreen interest is desirable. Tolerant of many soil types. Plant in well drained soils. Can tolerate some drought once established. Deer resistant and slow growing
