A beautiful upright tree with shiny purple-red leaves. Leaves that emerge cherry red in spring, changing to bronze-green in the summer. Fall color is a brilliant purple-red. As one of the first of the hybrid shirasawanum types Yasemin received much debate on the shirasawanum status. Now it is clear that many of the newer shirasawanum types are all hybrid selections with differing levels of full moon characteristics. Slow-moderate grower
