One of the best dwarf varieties for both color and form. In spring the tiny leaves are bright yellow-green with rose highlights. The leaves turn green for summer but 'Saiho' will normally push new growth in summer which keeps the tree looking fresh. The fall color is orange-red. This variety is ideal for bonsai, container gardening, or a small space in the landscape. Slow growing
