A dwarf Japanese maple tree that has twisting green leaves that have a salmon-pink hue in the early spring. The habit is extremely compact, with the leaves layering. During the summer, these twisting green leaves turn to a dark green. Fall colors are bright oranges to reds. The name 'Ryuzu' translates as "dragon's head". Slow growing.
