"Rara" translates as rare while "flora" tranlates as plants. This selection is quite rare on the nursery trade even though it is quite beautiful. 'Raraflora" leafs out with shrimp pink new growth on a thinly serrated laceleaf , later turning to bright green. New growth during the summer is a shrimp pink again providing contrast well against the older light green growth. Fall color is glowing orange-red. Slow-moderate grower
