Graceful, arching deciduous tree displaying deeply-lobed, finely-serrated, brilliant red-orange leaves. Provides artistic lacy effect that contrasts well with green-leafed plants. Foliage turns garnet-red in fall. A classic small specimen or accent. Slow-moderate growing. 'Oshio beni' translates as "large red tide" which describes this Japanese maple fairly well.
