Can really put on a color show throughout the year adding interest through the seasons. Heavy white/green variegation on willowy palmate leaves is just the background to hot pink new growth and stems. Secondary growth in late spring can be just as stunning, and fall colors produce oranges and reds, sometimes integrated with pink striping. Can tolerate sun, but prefers afternoon shade in hot sunny locations. Slow growing
