An exceptionally attractive and vigorous selection exhibits a both gorgeous color and a fine and delicate bamboo-like texture in the landscape during spring, summer and fall. In spring, extremely elongated willow-like leaves emerge bright red gradually turning to a deeper maroon as they age. By the end of the summer the leaves have turned to a reddish to purplish-green and then to brilliant shades of red and orange with the arrival of cooler temperatures in fall. Slow growing
