A slow grower, forming a small, bushy tree. In Japanese, “Beni Hime” translates to “Red Dwarf”. Spring growth is pale pink to rusty red, increasing in color intensity throughout the summer. Deep green spreads from lower branches mid-summer, giving this plant a rainbow of colors. Most leaves are as small as a penny and clustered on short stalks. Great for pots or bonsai.
