An upright moderate growing Japanese maple with large, pointed leaves. These leaves come out in spring a pinkish red color. This light reddish color with turn to a burgundy, then eventually green in the summer. Fall color is then a nice mix of oranges and yellows. ‘Beni gasa’ grows with a full dense habit and can get nearly as wide as it is tall.
