In spring, reticulated new leaves emerge with apricot-amber tones that contrast beautifully with the purple new bark. These leaves gradually change to melon-orange through spring and summer brings light to medium green with warm amber tones and deep purple veins in the reticulated leaves. In fall the color becomes more dramatic with shades of bright red and orange. Slow growing
