A golden version of the species with spreading, graceful branches. The well-cupped outer sprays and new foliage of this naturally irregular conifer are warm, rich yellow, while interior and older foliage provide contrast with medium green. Attractive, reddish brown bark develops striking texture with age. Prefers moist, well-drained soil with afternoon shade in the summer. Moderate growing and deer resistant.
